I have lived in the attic of my mind, 
sorting through old thoughts like faded letters, 
searching for the right words to make love stay. 

I have tried to draw the shape of intimacy, trace it in careful lines, 
make it logical, 
understandable,
safe. 

But love is not a puzzle to be solved.
It is the lump in my throat before I speak. 
It is the warmth blooming in my ribs when I let myself be seen.
It is the ache of longing stretching across my skin when I stop silencing what wants to be heard. 

My mind built a sanctuary of knowing. 

But my heart...

my heart is a wild thing, 
barefoot and untamed, 
running toward love with no directions,
 no armor, 
only the pulse of something ancient calling me home. 

So I lay down my thoughts like river stones, 
one by one,
letting them sink. 

I step barefoot into the unknown, let the water rise, let it carry me deeper. 

No more explaining. 

No more waiting for permission to feel. 

I am here. 

I am open. 

I am listening. 

And love is not a problem to be solved or a question to be answered.

It is a current. 

And I am finally letting it take me.
