I learned this the hard way.

 In 2017, I lost my husband suddenly.

Two months before, he came home to protect us during a hurricane.

When he returned home from work the following month, something was off. Dizziness. Slurred speech. His body shutting down day by day, until he was completely paralyzed. 

He passed less than a month later.

His death is still a mystery to me…
And I am a woman who needs answers and lives for understanding.

But what I do know is this: we don’t have forever in this life in this beautiful physical form that is us at this moment.

Not even tomorrow is promised.

What we do have is now.

A moment to love.

To speak what’s in our hearts.

To hold your partner close and not wait for the perfect time.

💗 Kiss them longer than you usually would.
💗 Make plans for joy.
💗 Let the little things go.

I see too many people holding back love, waiting for the right moment to open, thinking there’s more time…

But love doesn’t live in someday. It lives in now.

And when worry or distraction pulls me away, I come back to presence:
A walk in nature. A few deep breaths. A prayer. A touch. A song. A dance.

Love is always right here.
